Wedding Season - Hats

It's that time of year again when we're in Wedding Mode! If you're lucky enough NOT to be a bridesmaid and you can choose your own attire then let the fun begin! Dressing up is not just for the bride, just don't wear white or you will kiss goodbye to your christening invite!

So you have the perfect dress in this year's colours (not white!) and you're asking yourself is it too much to wear a hat? Well maybe not a hat but its the one day of the year when you can wear feather and not feel foolish! There are so many types of head pieces that it's best to shop around and look for a colour that highlights a colour of your dress or accessories. Head pieces can be really fancy or understated but you will definitely see more of these than hats on the Big Day. Head pieces or fascinators as they're often called are easier to wear in a lot of ways as the hairdresser can help you put it in your hair so they won't flatten the hair and are much cooler in warm weather.

At Deja Vu we have a huge range of fascinators, head pieces and hats for hire, some of which can be customised. Rental starts from just 20 euro.
